Oppo and Vivo Prepare Pocket Gimbal Camera Push to Challenge DJI’s Creator Hardware
Oppo and Vivo are reportedly developing pocket-style handheld gimbal cameras, aiming to leverage imaging algorithms, AI features, and ecosystem integration to compete with DJI’s Osmo Pocket line. Vivo has begun user testing in Shenzhen and built a sizable project team, while Oppo’s project is expected to commercialize by end-2026 amid a fast-growing handheld smart imaging market.
